FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the catalog and about mods in general.

What is F95 Zone?

An independent catalog of adult (18+) mods for The Sims 4, Skyrim, Fallout and other games. We describe mods and link to the author pages on LoversLab. We are not F95zone and not LoversLab.

Do I need to register here to download a mod?

No. The download button on every card takes you straight to the mod’s page on LoversLab. LoversLab may require its own (free) account to download files.

Why does the button lead to LoversLab?

Because that is where the author hosts the mod. We never rehost files — this way you always get the current version and the author gets the traffic.

Are the mods free?

Most mods on LoversLab are free. Some authors also have optional supporter pages (Patreon and similar) — supporting them is the best way to keep mods updated.

How do I install a Sims 4 mod?

See our guide: How to install Sims 4 mods.

How do I install a Skyrim: Special Edition mod?

See our guide: How to install Skyrim SE mods.

How do I install a Fallout 4 mod?

See our guide: How to install Fallout 4 mods.

The mod does not work. What do I check first?

Make sure you have the framework the mod depends on (for example WickedWhims for Sims 4 animations, or SexLab / OStim for Skyrim), the right game version, and a mod manager load order as described by the author on the mod page.

How do I update a mod?

Download the new version from the author’s page and replace the old files in your Mods folder (Sims 4) or reinstall via your mod manager (Skyrim/Fallout). Keep the author’s folder structure.

Where are my saves / mod settings?

Sims 4: DocumentsElectronic ArtsThe Sims 4. Skyrim SE: DocumentsMy GamesSkyrim Special Edition. Fallout 4: DocumentsMy GamesFallout4. Mod settings are often stored in INI files there.

A mod was removed from my game after an update. Why?

Game updates can break mods. Check the author’s page on LoversLab for an updated version and remove outdated script mods before loading a save.

How can I support a mod author?

Follow and download from their pages, leave feedback, and support their optional Patreon or similar pages when they have one.

How do I report an error or request a removal?
