1. About This Mod

Shameless Whispers is a custom gameplay mod for The Sims 4 that expands romantic interactions between adult Sims.

Does ordinary flirting feel a little too innocent? Do your Sims have things they’d love to say to each other, but the game’s standard romantic interactions just don’t go far enough?

Shameless Whispers introduces naughty flirting, intimate conversations, shameless fantasies, individual reactions, and unexpected consequences for daring romantic confessions.

Your Sims can now share their desires, tease their partners, make them blush, provoke unexpected reactions, and occasionally discover that being a little too confident can lead to trouble.

But be careful. Not every confession will receive an enthusiastic response.

The main social interactions are designed for adult male-female couples, with separate dialogue pools for male and female Sims.

Shameless Whispers does not replace the existing romance system in The Sims 4. Instead, it expands it with new situations, emotional reactions, and a touch of unpredictable gameplay.

2. A New Personality Trait

Indecent Mind

At the heart of Shameless Whispers is a custom personality trait that unlocks additional romantic interactions.

This trait represents a Sim’s inclination toward daring flirting, intimate conversations, and experimenting with romantic boundaries.

Features:

• The trait can be added or removed through a dedicated in-game interaction.

• It does not need to be selected in Create-a-Sim.

• It is available only to Sims older than teenagers.

• It is not automatically assigned to random Sims.

• Both partners do not need to have the trait for the interactions to work.

Having the trait unlocks special interactions, but it does not guarantee that every confession will be welcomed.

However, when both Sims have the Indecent Mind trait, they are particularly receptive to each other’s desires. In the current version, interactions between two Sims with this trait result in positive reactions for both participants.

3. New Romantic Interactions

The mod introduces three categories of romantic social interactions.

Naughty Flirting

The most accessible category.

It includes daring compliments, suggestive remarks, teasing propositions, and other ways to let a partner know that an ordinary romantic conversation might not be quite enough.

These interactions do not require a high romantic relationship level.

However, even a seemingly harmless provocative comment may not always be appreciated.

Steamy Conversations

More personal and daring confessions.

Sims can share their desires, discuss what they want from their partners, and bring up subjects that rarely find their way into everyday conversation.

This category is intended for Sims who have already developed a romantic relationship.

Availability depends on the level of romance between the participants.

Shameless Fantasies

The most intimate category of social interactions.

Sims can reveal their private fantasies, unexpected desires, and thoughts they would never dare share with a casual acquaintance.

These conversations require a certain degree of romantic closeness.

A partner’s reaction may be positive or negative.

The main system features 50 custom dialogue lines, divided between male and female Sims and distributed across the three interaction categories.

Lines are selected randomly from their respective pools, helping conversations feel more varied and less repetitive.

4. Reactions and Consequences

Honesty is not always rewarded.

Shameless Whispers introduces positive and negative reactions to intimate romantic confessions.

Depending on the situation, Sims may experience:

• Desire and excitement.

• Pleasure from their partner’s openness.

• Embarrassment after an unexpected confession.

• Irritation or rejection.

• Disappointment following an unsuccessful attempt at flirting.

These reactions are accompanied by custom moodlets and emotional effects.

Rejection Has Consequences

Following a negative reaction, the mod applies a 72 in-game-hour cooldown, temporarily restricting further interactions.

This prevents Sims from immediately repeating an unsuccessful attempt at an intimate confession.

The mod also includes a system intended to prevent the same dialogue line from repeating during a conversation.

Shameless Whispers is not designed to guarantee romantic success.

Sometimes a failed attempt at flirting should remain exactly that: a failure.

5. WickedWhims Integration

Shameless Whispers includes a dedicated integration with WickedWhims by TURBODRIVER.

This integration introduces additional emotional effects during sexual interactions.

How It Works

When a Sim participates in a supported WickedWhims interaction, Shameless Whispers may apply a custom moodlet.

Separate dialogue pools are provided for male and female Sims.

The integration includes approximately 25 custom dialogue variations for each gender.

One variation is selected from the corresponding pool when the effect is triggered.

These temporary effects remain active during the relevant interaction and are removed when it ends.

Solo and Same-Sex Interactions

WickedWhims-related effects are not limited to male-female couples.

Because the integration responds to specific WickedWhims gameplay states, custom moodlets may also appear during:

• Solo sexual activities, including masturbation.

• Sexual interactions between Sims of the same sex.

• Other WickedWhims activities that activate the corresponding gameplay states.

This is a known characteristic of the current integration.

Please distinguish between WickedWhims integration and the main Shameless Whispers social interactions.

Naughty Flirting, Steamy Conversations, and Shameless Fantasies are currently designed exclusively for adult male-female couples.

The WickedWhims moodlet integration operates separately and may trigger regardless of the participants’ genders when the relevant conditions are met.

Important Information

Shameless Whispers:

• Does not include custom sexual animations.

• Does not replace WickedWhims animations.

• Does not redistribute WickedWhims files.

• Does not provide a standalone sexual interaction system.

• Uses existing WickedWhims gameplay states to apply its own custom effects.

WickedWhims must be installed separately.

6. Special Feature: The Erection of the Year

Sometimes a romantic confession goes so well that the consequences become a little more exciting than expected.

Shameless Whispers includes a rare special condition for male Sims called The Erection of the Year.

This condition may appear after a particularly successful romantic interaction.

It represents an exceptionally strong state of arousal and is accompanied by additional emotional effects.

However, the condition is rare and is not guaranteed to occur.

Possible Consequences

If a male Sim experiencing this condition participates in a relevant sexual interaction, an additional probability check may occur.

In rare cases, excessive physical exertion may lead to death by overexertion, using the death mechanics available in The Sims 4.

Important details:

• This mechanic applies only to male Sims.

• The special condition does not appear after every successful flirt.

• Receiving the condition does not automatically cause death.

• The fatal outcome is determined by an additional probability check.

• The mechanic uses an existing in-game death type.

Death is intended to be an exceptionally rare gameplay event, not a standard consequence of using the mod.

Warning: This mod includes gameplay mechanics that may result in the death of a Sim. Saving your game before risky interactions is recommended.

7. Requirements and Compatibility

Required Mods

XML Injector — Scumbumbo

Used to register and inject additional social interactions into the game.

An up-to-date compatible version is required.

Lot 51 Core Library — Lot 51

Required for additional gameplay injections and custom interaction behavior.

The minimum version specified in the mod’s configuration is 1.43.

Using the latest version compatible with your game is recommended.

WickedWhims — TURBODRIVER

Required for the included sexual interaction integration and its associated moodlets and effects.

The WickedWhims integration is currently included in the main Shameless Whispers package.

Additional Emotional Dependency

Mood Pack — Lumpinou

Used in the project for expanded emotional effects.
 

No Custom Script Required

Shameless Whispers does not require a separate .ts4script file.

The mod is distributed as a single .package file and uses XML tuning and existing modding frameworks.
